Ekinciler Iron and Steel, continues to add value to the steel it produces in its steel meltshop, where it produces with its innovative, qualified and environmentally friendly approach by combining its past experience with its future vision.

Our steel meltshop which has an annual production capacity of 1.25 million tons, has a modern arc furnace, a ladle furnace, the cornerstone of secondary metallurgy, and a continuous casting machine with the largest radius in steel industry.

For sustainable steel production in our steel meltshop;

• In the new CCM unit, billets of all lenghts from 6-12 meters with the size between 130x130 mm and 200x200 mm can be produced.
• Low, medium, high carbon steels and low alloy steels of different qualities can be produced in accordance with standards. Also, we can produce special steels using closed casting technology.
• All stages can be monitored meticulously with our Ek-Kalite software, throughout production process.
• Instant and continuous temperature control is carried out precisely with new technology temperature measurement systems.
• Thanks to the application of artificial slag in LF, more effective desulfurization is achieved and perfect impurity control is carried out with existing cored wire injection systems.
